Royal Pew

This model of the Scottish crown (the real one is stored at Edinburgh Castle) marks the pew where HM the Queen sits as she attends Canongate Kirk when resident at the Palace of Holyroodhouse. 

We were there for the annual J S Bach organ recital by our Director of Music, George Wilson. The programme included solos by his talented sons, Tom and Adam, on violin and cello respectively. Most enjoyable and very well attended.
