A day in bed(s)

This area at the bottom of the garden is about 20ft x16ft and was all flagged when we bought the house. So I lifted all the flags, relaid the ones where we wanted paths and the rest is to be raised beds for growing veg.

So after two days solid I have it all cut (handsaw, mistake) and laid. 8ft x 10" x 5" pressure treated sleepers held together with 10" timberlock screws. They are not going anywhere! All that's needed now is to await the delivery of 6 tons of well rotted horse shit and top soil that I can wheelbarrow down and get into the beds ready to plant this autumn and early next year.

I feel like i have been pushed down a flight of stairs...
