Friday 15 June 2012: Class Day out!

Today was our summer term trip...and at least we did not get all the wind and rain that the south of the country seemed to be experiencing! But it wasn't really the best of days to be by the seaside but we all had a great time. The newly renovated beach cafe at Rosemarkie proved to be a great first stop for us. Great position right on the beach with home baking and great service.

We decided to give beach games a miss and went to Channory point instead to try and spot the Murray firth Dolphins. The photo is taken at the point looking back at the lighthouse. Unfortunately we didn't see any dolphins but we were probably not so disappointed as the crowds of people with tripods, serious cameras and telescopes who gathered to spot them!

Lunch was taken in the minibus, home baked cup cakes were shared and then it was onto a fabulous new playpark in Rosemarkie that kept us all amused until it was time travel the 40 minutes back to school. Everyone was in high spirits and all of the staff were sensing the end of term finish line not far off (9.5 days to go!)
