Lifeboat Day at Moelfre

Normally a quiet little seaside village, but not on lifeboat day!
The main picture shows how the Lifeboat men responded to a barrage of water balloons pelted from the shore (as often happens)
The first additional photo shows a small part of the immense crowd from my position on the rocks, and the last one shows the lifeboat moments after launch.
This Tamar boat is so fast that on a high speed pass it left the jet ski boys wallowing in it's wake to the cheers of the crowd.
With the bay full of small boats the event is a major attraction on the island with thousands of visitors on the day to this tiny village, and raises much needed funds for the RNLI.
