No, your eyes are not deceiving you. This guitarist is indeed embracing a fire hydrant. :-)

Our local farmers' market takes place in a park adjacent to a fire station. In the park there is a memorial for the fireman who are no longer with us. As it was raining today, the musician played next to his equipment, rather than in front of the tent, which made for a funny illusion of a duet with a very silent partner.
