Saturday 16 June 2012: Divided We Stand
Rain all day yesterday, rain all day today, so we went to the museum for the 'See Scotland By Train' exhibition, which closes at the end of the month.
It's mainly a display of travel posters with some examples of the original paintings. I was very disappointed that we were not allowed to take photographs (not even sneaky ones as I'd been informed as soon as I took out the camera). Had to make do with a frig magnet instead.
That Blipportunity thwarted I took this instead, James Watt using his dividers on an engineering project, a detail taken from the marble statue by Sir Francis Chantrey (1782- 1841) lent to the Royal Scottish Museum by Heriot-Watt University.
