Commemorating alone

Attended the service at the Dutch Indies War Memorial where the 70th anniversary of the end of WW II was held with the capitulation by the Japanese emperor of then what resulted in the liberation from the imprisonment in Japanese camps in Indonesia and Birma.
Spotted this survivor of the Jappanese Camps in Indonesia and it strikes me that he's alone and in thoughts back in those times of hurrendous turmoil and insecurity.
I wish I knew his name.

did meet mr. Paatje Phefferkorn again and was pleased finding him alive and kicking!
