Saturday 16 June 2012: Inver revisited
Last June I visited (and blipped) the work that was being done to replace the small hydro scheme on the Inver Estate , at the south end of the Island of Jura , with a much larger one.
I was back today - and was tremendously impressed with progress. They started generating on Monday and were due to undertake a full running test today.
There was certainly enough water for it - it rained for most of my time on the island. But to be fair there has recently been a reasonably sustained dry spell in most of Argyll.
