Brecon Horseshoe

Looking back at Corn Du, Pen y Fan and Cribyn. Climbed and descended by the time this picture was taken.

The boys are away so rather than sit around playing with the blue fluff from our navels we headed off to the Brecon Beacons.

Nothing fancy, just the Brecon Horseshoe from Neaudd Reservoir. 8 miles of glorious views, relaxing walking and the disappointing sandwiches that I'd prepared.

Stopped on the way back at the Old Barn Tea Rooms for a perfect cream tea. Loose leaf tea and freshly baked scones. Magic. To think, I was all for going for a refreshing pint!
