Rather a sad looking fish.....

.... to choose as your lamppost logo through the town. This is on the promenade at Felpham. You can tell by the leaden colour of the sky why we were  practically the only people on the prom. In the whole of our walk, we met two girls with two dogs, and  one runner. So ok, it was raining, and a wee bit blustery, but not cold or unpleasant. Thoroughly enjoyed it, especially not being mown down by buggies, bikes and scooters.

William Blake lived in Felpham for 3 years, writing

Away to sweet Felpham for heaven is there:
The Ladder of Angels descends through the air
On the turrett its spiral does softly descend
Through the village it winds, at my cot it does end.

I must have missed that!
