Reims Cathedral

A visit to the French town of Reims would not be complete without a picture of its famous and spectacular cathedral.
The cathedral, or Notre Dame de Reims was 800 years old in 2011.
the town is rightfully proud of its cathedral, and it is a major tourist attraction.
I would have photographed its impressive front façade, but unfortunately this is currently covered in scaffolding for restoration works.
