Friday 15 June 2012: "It Tastes Weird Because Sian Forgot The Eggs
Today is my final full day in Cardiff - tomorrow the parents arrive to whisk me back over the Severn Bridge.
Today started with a trip to the Bay to see a very professional Ms Thorne for lunch on her final day of internship - unsurprisingly, they're super impressed with her, but most people are :)
This afternoon Han, Lauren and I got very excited about a surprise(ish) birthday gathering we were planning for Lydia - I made a cake (which, yes, I forgot to put eggs in...), Han decorated it, then the three of us sat down to blow up 200 balloons.
We watched the Hunchback of Notredame, ate cake, drunk gin, and laughed and danced into the wee small hours.
Such a good day.
