Sunday 17 June 2012: All grown up
Smoosh's last day as a baby... I have spent most of the day making her cake !
Yes, tomorrow she turns one, can you believe it? I can't quite believe it's been a whole year since her amazing birth (don't click that link if you're offended by swear words or rather graphic descriptions, by the way!) and I can't believe how much she's changed over the last year.
She's now almost walking (she has until the end of today to take her first step if she wants to keep up with her sister ;o) ), she can say "mama", "dada" and her own little words for 'Claudia' and 'ball'; she sleeps in her own room for most of the night and she eats like a horse her mother.
Claudia has grown into a lovely little sister. She doesn't push Amy over quite as much (although there are still many occasions) and seems to really care about her little sister and include her in things.
I couldn't be happier. Almost a year since my family became complete and I love my beautiful ladies and my lovely husband more than ever. I can't quite believe I have been lucky enough to get the only thing I've ever truly wanted in my life - a family. All that heartache was worth it; I'm so glad I have them.
