Tuesday 12 June 2012: Floods
Managed a lunchtime walk around the lanes. Feeling pretty rough with a cold and hay fever on top (one advantage of the rain is that the pollen count has been low!). The lanes were very flooded with running water crossing some of the roads.
Very few insects around on this grey and cold day. Most were sheltering under leaves. Spotted this large fly by the edge of a small pond. Not sure what it is.
