Five Minutes Peace

When the girls were little, they had a lovely picture storybook called 'Five Minutes Peace'. It was about a family of elephants and the mum's struggle to have just five minutes peace and quiet on her own. I think she managed three minutes and forty-five seconds.

After a day of cleaning, cupboard sorting, journey to the local tip to name but a few of today's activities, I managed a few minutes of peace and quiet after dinner with a piece of cake, a cup of tea and a book :)
