This feather, fluttering in a spider's web in the apple tree, caught my eye while I was tidying up fallen apples this afternoon. Thought it had a distinct look of an insect about it.

Other than the regulation 20 lengths of the outside pool this morning, it was a domestic day of bread baking, gardening and more planning for our trip next month.
