Sunday 17 June 2012: My bark is better than my bite ...
I spotted these lovely lichens and mosses on a tree a while back, and made a mental note to go back to blip them. You can probably tell I've had some fun playing with the colours - I posted a selection of similar pictures on facebook and a friend described them as 'psychedelic'. This one is possibly the least so.
I love how some of the moss looks like little forests. Are these taller bits flowers? Please excuse my ignorance!
Had a fairly quiet day, even for me. Watched the shock ending to the Queen's Club men's singles final and then went to church this evening. It was a dry but grey day until the sun burst through the clouds and filled the church with brilliant light at about 6.30pm, and there were lovely views of the countryside bathed in the evening light as I drove home.
