Saturday 16 June 2012: City Planner
If you were a city planner, and your specialty was bicycle infrastructure, this is what you should look like. Fortunately for us, we have such a city planner. She rode with our club on our Saturday Breakfast Ride. Unfortunately, she fell later in the ride and bruised her hip. Luckily it wasn't serious.
In an unrelated event, our mayor also had a cycling accident. She hit a patch of gravel in a rut and went down hard, getting a concussion (even with a helmet) and a broken collar bone. She said it was the first time she's broken a bone in 25 years of riding.
