Sunday 17 June 2012: Samson's Summer Shenanigans
We are on a vety eco friendly campsite and the owners had asked us to move our tent to save the grass. Not waiting to be known as 'the grass killers'and as the weather was reasonable, we spent a bit of time doing this. It got a bit interesting when Martin the Mallet went missing and the air got a bit fruity with the language. He was found in the longer grass after some time, wearing a cheeky grin on his mallety face.
:-)
We had a late trip out to Abercastle bay which was beautiful and a short hike along the coast path, resplendent with sea pinks and foxgloves and a host of other flowers.
We saw Carreg Samson, a burial chamber and I spotted this character lurking among the stones.
He is a wag, that Mr H.
