Happy Bees

A friend called early as she wanted a walk so we headed up the moor. Although we have had few bees in the garden, they were busy making honey on the moor, and someone had set up their hives there. The heather is going over now, but still pretty.

When I turned up at the pharmacy I found that the malaria tablet situation was still on-going. Despite the promises, the GP had not sent the prescription to the pharmacy, so I had another half hour consultation there, getting stuff put into the computer, then was issued with a prescription, I got doxycycline as it seems to have less side effects than malarone. And is lots cheaper.

Worrying health news from a couple of friends who called round. A three week wait to find out if it is bad news or really bad news.
