Final

Bit of a mooch and a wander with this young man in the morning and by the time we got back home the rest of his family had arrived in Edinburgh to join us for the next three days.

Afternoon down the book festival - most of us sat around in the sun and drank coffee and nattered whilst two of the girls went to the Darren Shan event and then joined the big signing queue afterwards. Plan was to stay out in town and go for food but everywhere was so packed with a combination of general Edinburgh in Augustness and the rugby that we bid a retreat home and then never actually made it back out again.
