Sunday 17 June 2012: Forward...march!
In just two days, the morning glories have grown a foot and is proceeding in an orderly fashion.
Huge thunderstorms and insanely heavy and sustained downpours punctuated the day. There was some time between storm fronts to check on the garden's resilience against that much water. Looks amazing.
Inside was the place to be for me. There were some new concepts to learn in the interest of becoming more skilled at certain computer things, so the weather did not really make a difference, to me, that is.
To the people with cabins up north, it probably made the difference between fishing and playing endless rounds of Yahtzee. To people camping, it probably sucked. To people who wanted to go golfing, it most definitely sucked. No one is ever completely happy with the weather.
