Hurricane Ridge

Our second day of our visit with our friend Peg and her son Nick we decided to buck the stormy cloudy weather and take our chances to head over to the Olympic Peninsula and drive up to Hurricane Ridge.  Even the hooligans rode along in the back of the car.  Despite the rains and clouds we managed some terrific views when the clouds opened up periodically!  We saw deer and mt. ridges and lots of beautiful forest scenes. The Olympic National Park is one of my favorite places to go.
Afterwards we headed back down to partake in a crab dinner at the infamous Three Crabs restaurant---------but such a disappointment to find it had been sold to land reclamation in 2012...it was very strange just seeing the empty fields where it had been.  So Peg's son Nick googled and found us a terrific new place to try in Sequim (pronounced squim) and the place was called Blondie's and the food was tapas (small plastes)  style , eclectic and outrageously delicious!
