What makes this building TIC?

At £90 million, the TIC building is Strathclyde University's single-biggest investment in research and technology collaboration. TIC stands for  Technology & Innovation Centre and together with the surrounding International Technology & Renewable Energy Zone (ITREZ), they are expected to generate 700 new jobs and attract millions of pounds of inward investment to Glasgow. It all sounds too good to be true but there has been a total transformation of this rundown commercial area off High Street. I watched the building go up over 2 years and wondered what modern monstrosity would emerge. But it is beautiful - this triangular edge is like the prow of a great ship.
An extra picture depicts the evening light around 8.30 after a thunderstorm, when the clouds began to roll away to the North and this atmospheric misty skyline materialised over the Campsie Hills.
