Unknown?

While on holiday a few years ago in Madiera.I picked a few seed and tucked them in my suitcase.As one does??
  Anyway I forgot all about them until last year.I then scattered them on a bit of compost in the green house and surprise,surprise they grew! And now we have flowers!
  The red bits are red leaves although they look like flowers?
The actual flowers are the pinky/white candy looking things in the middle.
 No scent but a very frosty looking texture. As though made out of icing sugar.
