Fearless Warriors

We had the pleasure to attend a party at our neighbors' house. Thomas and Angi are from the Cajun Country (Northern Louisiana), and Thomas can cook the REAL DEAL Cajun food like nobody's business. The minute HD heard "Gumbo" and "Jambalaya", there was not turning back - his mind was set or crashing no matter what the consequences, even though the party was officially for the faculty of Art Department. Fortunately, the neighbors were all for us crashing :-)

The kids have it good - entire basement is converted into a huge playroom, complete with a large number of medieval foam swords, axes, and hatchets. Check out LM and "Lil Bourg" admiring their battle stances in the mirror before returning to pummeling each other with doubled vigor. A scene from  "The Princess Bride" comes to mind.
