Revealing

.....a droplet on my pansy.  Only the size of a pin head, used my 50mm with all three extension tubes.  No more of the shenanigans from yesterday, although I was surprised with the positive feedback received.  Fun to do, but not really photography,

A day with nothing planned turned out to have some surprises.

Friends gave us a ring asking us to join them at the Theatre Royal for a Daytime Concert.  One of eight variety concerts that tour nationwide every year.

The one today was "Legendary Vocal Groups", and what an awesome hour and half we had.  All the songs we knew presented by very talented and well known NZ artists.  The next one in October is "The Many Faces of Gilbert & Sullivan" followed in December by a "Christmas Pantomine". Previously "3 Mad Fiddlers", "Best Musicals of All Time", "Opera's Greatest Hits" ....I could go on!!  Priced for "the oldies"
Loved it, have to say because of the time of day the majority of patrons were aging!!!  But heck, what the hell.  And, whats more - lunch is served at the end of the show, sandwiches, Neenish tarts, coffee and tea.  But what we did (smacks hands) we took them back to our friends place where the six of us enjoyed lunch in warmth and comfort.

Freezing day, overcast, bleak - spring NOT.  Snow showing on the foothills today, more rain expected tonight - brrrr.
