Sunset over Longannet

This is a view of the River Forth, taken from the shore at Culross in Fife. The structure on the right of the picture is Longannet power station, which is Scotland's last coal-fired power station and, with a generating capacity of 2400 MW, is Britain's second largest power station. Longannet is set to close by March 2016 due, apparently to the cost of connecting to the national grid and as a result of increasingly stringent environmental regulations.
