At a profoundly moving event today. I listened to people who came to Scotland looking for a new life. They've found new lives because of the compassion and kindness of people and their own determination, trying to understand and navigate a system that you would think was designed to thwart them.

They are incredible people as are the people who have supported them and worked alongside them.

I won't forget what I heard.
