Tuesday 19 June 2012: Silver
Twenty- five years ago today it was a very warm sunny day. Glad to say it is still very warm and sunny.
Celebrating twenty -five years of marriage today. Unfortunately hubby is in deepest Africa so will celebrate properly when he returns. Our Best Man and his wife sent us two beautiful roses for the garden. They have been named 'Silver Anniversary'. The buds have been teasing us for over a week now but have opened on cue for today. They have a fantastic scent too.
They also sent this card with one of our wedding day photos printed on it. Look at the hair! Hubby wearing his grandfather's kilt and I designed and made my dress.
Looking forward to his return home.
Here's to the next twenty-five.
