Tuesday 19 June 2012: Foreground interest

Took the long way home from work today. That gives me industrial views from the north side of the river Medway. In the background here, behind the pylons are what I believe is Britain's longest jetty - for unloading fuel for kings north power station.

I'm always drawn to the juxtaposition of bright colours and industrial scenes. I had some great fun with my 8mm wide angle up close to those pylons, but kept being drawn back to this shot, and you have to go with your instincts don't you!
