Tuesday 19 June 2012: More Sea Views!
Pensioner log Tuesday something. I don't even know how Euro 2012 is coming along. It chucked it down on our quiet anchorage about six in the morning and there was mist down on the hills when we finally got up.
But sailing (under engine) up the Sound of Mull you could see the blue skies ahead. Oh dear there must be some foul days coming to pay me back for days like this. Sailing past the lighthouse and cliffs at Ardnamurchan under blue skies and then, bearing away to Eigg (above) with Rum behind. Only bummer was that the restaurant and bar closes at five - it's open ten next week. Bah!
Still, I'm sitting in the boat in the evening sunshine while Jimmie cooks down below and the box of red wine isn't finished yet. Fruitcake and whisky to follow! Slainte!
