Tuesday 19 June 2012: Cracking up...
844/365: ... and this building too!
Took this first thing at work because I had a feeling the day would be too busy to do anything else. Guess what? I was right! Managed to squish in 6 different meetings - laughed my head off at various points in most of them, put some stuff in motion, sorted out a few bits and bobs - but had zero time to stop. Some days are like that, huh?
The weather was surprisingly nice today though, regardless of ridiculous busy-ness. It really shouldn't be a surprise in mid to late June that the weather is sunny. But given the grey of the last few weeks, it is. And it doesn't half make a nice change. My 'no work when the sun is out' rule still hasn't been implemented, however. I wonder who I need to write to in order to get that sorted out?!
Oh, and I've decided to make my journey to work more interesting by awarding points for various bits of anti-social driving from my road ragey- friends on the highways of Notts / Derbyshire / South Yorks...
Tailgating - 1 point
Under-taking on motorway - 3 points
Gesticulating - 3 points
Gesticulating whilst shouting loudly - 4 points
Gesticulating whilst shouting loudly and flashing lights - 8 points
Near miss with oncoming lorry whilst doing ridiculous over-taking - 7 points
Music pounding so loudly you can't hear your own radio - 2 points
Leaving fog lights on when not needed - 4 points
Not dimming lights - 3 points
Driving whilst on phone - 3 points
More than 2 exhaust pipes - 2 points
BMW driver - 10 points
Print out and keep with you. First person to get to 100 wins a massage and chill-out weekend at a spa.
PS And... off to bed early again...
PPS ... complete with a gorgeously attractive psoriasis flare up.
PPPS Is it the weekend yet?!?!?!
