BIG PHOTO

If you watched the Jubilee flotilla you will have probably seen this image on the Sea Containers House. It is a 100m by 70m photograph taken at the last Silver Jubilee celebrations in 1977 and is one of the most memorable photographs ever taken of Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Philip and their children.

It shows Queen Elizabeth II waving to the crowds with Prince Charles, Prince Edward, Prince Andrew, Earl Mountbatten, Prince Phillip, Mark Phillips and Princess Anne standing on the balcony of Buckingham Palace.

I've been waiting to take this photo for sometime but Queen Victoria had protective barriers around her while they were working on the junction and it spoiled the image. If you go large you might notice that Queen Victoria is wearing something around her neck.
