Friday 15 June 2012: tadpoles
(camping at Clearwater Lake, O.N.F.)
cloudy, windy today, but no rain (although heard that there was HAIL today at home- rare for South Florida)
Rode the bikes on the path around the lake this morning and saw the 2 fawns again, as they leapt through the underbrush away from us. Then we took the jeep out on some dirt roads and ended up on the shore of Lake Dorr, where we saw hundreds of these "pollywogs" in a shallow edge of the lake.
Later had the swimming area at Clearwater Lake to ourselves.
