Not the Arctic #1: The Commute

Day 1 on Porto Santo started disappointingly chilly and cloudy, but the sun came out after lunch. Very windy though - which meant I didn't notice how strong the sun was and ended up with comedy sun burn. I never learn....

Mostly today was about getting a feel for the place and working out what's what with the hotel. Never been all inclusive before and find it a bit limiting as there are set meal times in the hotel.

Still - beach is gorgeous, hotel is spacious, clean and virtually Brit-free :-)

This is the short bridge that connects the outside area of the hotel to the beach. It never got boring walking over it and seeing the sea :-)
