The Candle, Gloucester Docks

This 21-metre high sculpture, is called 'The Candle', but locals have nicknamed  it 'The Kebab'. It cost £170,000 and was made by Wolfgang Buttress. It is supposed to represent cranes, ships' masts and chimneys - all symbols of the Docks' past. I rather like the way it has rusted.
You can just see Gloucester Cathedral in the background - we're headed that way looking for somewhere to have lunch before heading back home.
