Air Terjun (waterfall)

After a 1.5hr drive south of Jakarta, up and over the Puncak Pass, you get to Cibodas and the Taman Nasional Gede-Prangrango.

From there, you can walk for just over an hour into a national park and up through the forests that line the side of the volcano Gunung Gede until you reach the Cibereum waterfalls.

There are three in total, cascading 30m from the cliffs above. It is quite a sight and combined with the cool temperature (as they are 1500m above sea level) makes for a pleasent morning pursuit.
