Young Bird

I went to the park to try to get the swallow shot I have been chasing.. I wanted for an hour at the pond and only saw three but they were in and out in a shot.

When I was walking home I saw a bird on a low branch. I crept up and it was this bird.. I was only young and I don;t think it could fly properly because it just sat ther. There were two birds (prolly mum and dad) going apeshit in the tree above me and so I took a few shots and off I went.

Does anyone know what kind of bird this is? I have tried finding out, but not succeeded. The adult looks a lot like this, with a band across the eyes and is a very soft brown colour.
