St Magnus', Kirkwall

A favourite building contender, although really there was only 5 minutes to spare in Kirkwall, which was a shame after the bus, tram, flight .  On the other hand, the first half of the flight was lovely, with a great view of the bridges.  I also enjoyed the tram, which was quicker and smoother and better than it was when I used it before.  

Anyway:  the cathedral.  Can you imagine what it would have been like to come across this building in Orkney 800 years ago?
