Wednesday 20 June 2012: Hit it run
This is M's attempt at strengthening his street cred. You know, amongst the 6-12 month set. Actually, it's just me being silly. This top was a gift to A from our good friend Laura in New York. He got it when he was 10 months old and it was big on him. The photo also features my highly-prized Run DMC figures that I bought from kidrobot in NYC many years ago. We keep these on top of A's dresser but it wasn't until today, when M was sucking on one of them and it instantly came apart, that I realised that these are clearly the least child-friendly 'toys' in the whole wide world -- they're nothing but a series of very small parts! Thankfully the turntable, which is what M is chewing on here, is just one solid object.
M and I met up with two of our yoga pals at the usual spot, then went up to the doctor's office to get him weighed but they were closed for training -- boo. We popped into town and picked up some great bargains in the sales (including some sunglasses for me -- woo hoo!), then back home just late enough to make the rest of the evening completely chaotic. Oh well -- everyone's asleep now. Touch wood.
