Marienplatz Freising

Spent the last day of my 12 days in Germany in a town called Freising.
It can be reached as a small diversion (change at Neufahrn) on the S-Bahn between the airport and Munich and well worth the visit.
As with most of the Bavarian towns and cities in the area it was very clean, well maintained, colourful, full of history and events.
Being UK based where I can go 24hr supermarket shopping at Tesco's or Asda's at "stupid o'clock" in the morning, it was refreshingly quaint to have many shops (not restaraunts of cafes) in Freising close at 1.00pm for an hours lunch.
