The chain

No not the Fleetwood Mac song or the Radcliffe and Maconie show musical chain link but Bluff's chain sculpture.
The other end of the chain sculpture is on Stewart Island and is anchored to a rock to keep the island where it lay. Then they decided that Stewart Island needed to be anchored to the Waka (the South Island) so they built another chain sculpture in Bluff.

It was a glorious day today so rather than sit at my desk I decided to go out for a walk. I realised I hadn't been to Bluff since I moved down here so had a late lunch at the Oyster Bar and then went for a walk along the Foveaux walkway. Absolute bliss of a day
