Wednesday 20 June 2012: And your name is....?
Spotted by the burn that runs through the Strathclyde Uni gardens.-The leaves look like it's a hosta, but I haven't seen a flower like this on a hosta before.
Not that I'm a hosta expert, or an expert on any type of flora, for that matter!
Anyway, I just liked the way the background came out contrastingly dark, against the subtle colouring of the flower. Some of the other shots were comparatively green.
This was taken on Wednesday, when the weather was still dry, but it was giving serious thought to raining. It held off until today, Thursday, and I'm not sure I'm up for a spell of lunchtime rain blipping. Hm.
