“The rain to the wind said,
You push and I'll pelt.'
They so smote the garden bed
That the flowers actually knelt,
And lay lodged--though not dead.
I know how the flowers felt.”
― Robert Frost

Waiting for a parcel scheduled to be delivered by DHL (that never came) kept me home and constant rain kept me indoors.  Dad's roses bravely dancing in the garden.  Heating is on.  Tortoises are in the kitchen tonight and Bro is here for dinner again.  Goody.  I like playing 'house' and I like early Autumn in Essex.  A rare treat for me, although the complete change from the weekend's wonderful weather is, well,  disappointing.  MBFIATW Jean comes tomorrow - hurrah.
