Matt and Anna used to love a kids' cartoon called 'Maggie and the Ferocious Beast'. There was an annoying song that went 'the fun never stops with a cardboard box, there's so many things you can doooooo!'

It's true. Anna's using this one as as a racing car, in which she's scoffing Hula Hoops and drinking milk. I bet Lewis Hamilton does the same when no-one's looking.

I'm determined this won't be a moany blip. So, I won't whine about getting my head around this weekend's trip, starting to pack and look forward to it, then it being cancelled due to the weather forecast and people understandably dropping out.

I won't go on about how much I hate English weather, how I desperately miss my childhood summers in Spain, and I won't tell you that if there was some spare cash knocking about I'd be on a plane out of here.

I'll just pop the kettle back on, dig out a pair of thick, warm socks and plaster a smile on to my miserable face instead. There, sorted.

Today's highlight? £40 worth of Pizza Express vouchers from Tesco Clubcard. Honestly, it was the most exciting thing. Something needs to change :-/
