Wednesday 20 June 2012: Edgeway
This is Cath on Sgurr an Fheadain. The climb we were attempting was called 'Edgeway' and was named in the book as 'Difficult' which is the lowest grade anyone with dignity would use a rope on. Turned out we needed it. Every single member of the party declared at one time or another 'This is not a 'Diff''. We made it up and thoroughly enjoyed the scramble to the bealach, and the scree run off to the path.
On the way back down to the car park we passed the Fairy Pools, so me being me I cooled off by swimming through the underwater arch. Been wanting to do that for YEARS!! What a magic day.
