Recorded the day before their live concert at London's Royal Albert Hall to ensure concert arrangements of established material had been perfected.
A pre-ordered copy of The Jimi Hendrix Experience box set, re-released at mid-price, arrived on this day, the anniversary of his premature death on 18 September 1970. A remix of this performance is included on the set.
