Only in Cockermouth

as my neighbour said.
At present the posh Food Fair is on in Cockermouth - but so is the Duck Race! 1000+ plastic ducks released from a net on the old railway bridge to be caught about 100 yards down stream in the Cocker. My extra shows the catching team - but if you go to Trev's blip you can see some of the ones that got away.
Later our neighbour's (adult) son stood in the Derwent with a net and caught them as they passed the house. Only in Cockermouth indeed. We love it!
