Thursday 21 June 2012: Container gardening
We are trying a new system of container gardening this year. My wife got these buckets specially designed with openings in the side. You fill them with soil and put the plants in the holes in the sides as you add the dirt. They are supposed to be hung, but ours in on our bench for now. This one is planted with a variety of hot peppers. So far, they are doing quite well. The only problem is remembering to water them every day. So, hopefully, in about August, we'll have a bumper crop of hot peppers.
